   I'1000 having (over a month now) axact the same problem with an Acer Aspire 7551 (P322G25MN) laptop. Only, the CD DVD is NOT an Optiarc
   AD-7585H by Sony but a HL-DT-STDVDRAM GT30N by Hitachi-LG.

   Win 10 doesn't recognize the CD DVD bulldoze; it is listed in 'Other Devices' (Device Managing director) (as HL-DT-STDVDRAM GT30 and not as HL-DT-STDVDRAM GT30N ATA DEVICE in Win vii) ; I can not manually install the driver (nor update information technology); I tried everything mentioned before
   and in orther threads (regedit atapi Controller0, UpperFilters - LowerFilters, FIXIT, troubleshooter, ...).

   Anyone?
